Introducing JoomBox! 

JoomBox is a Joomla implementation of Grey Box . 

With JoomBox you can open links in an AJAX type pop up window that isn't affected by pop up blockers. You can open links in a full browser window or a smaller pop up window set to your specific size like this link . 

Unfortunately this is not a component, module or mambot (yet), instead it is a core files modification which allows you to easily add the AJAX type pop up box to any menu link, and (currently) with a little snippet of code (copy and paste) to any link throughout Joomla!

It's simple to install and setup if you know how to use FTP and have permission to overwrite files in your Joomla installation. You'll also need to know how to edit Php files to implement the necessary code which calls the Grey Box files into play.

You can use the JoomBox for more than just web pages. You can show galleries of web pages as well as images and galleries of images.
